Burn Design Lab's Plancha stove will be featured in Design with the 90%, an upcoming special exhibit at the Bill and Melinda Gates Foundation Discovery Center in Seattle.

“In organizing Design with the 90%,” said Cynthia E. Smith, Curator of Socially Responsible Design for Cooper Hewitt, “I wanted to highlight a new generation of architects, engineers, designers, NGOs, and philanthropists who are partnering and working in co-creation with communities with limited resources to meet real needs. Burn Design Lab’s inspiring efforts around the world are representative of this type of work.”

The exhibit will run from September 13th, 2018 to May 11th, 2019. The opening celebration runs from 5 to 8 p.m. and is open to the public.
